Measure (Sergei Kofman)

Improviser Karen Ng celebrated the release of her brilliant new album “Backwards Blue” - a collection of saxophone and electronics-centred compositions made with David Psutka, that simultaneously distills and widens Ng’s restless creative practice.

Jeremy Young Montreal-based composer, and maker of concrete electronic tape music Jeremy Young, performed material from his intriguing 2025 album “Cablcar”- an experimental suite of electronic sketches for magnetic tape and analog oscillators.

Xuan Ye New media artist Xuan Ye presented their first live improvisation in 3 years. Their fascinating album xi xi 息息, was released on Halocline Trance in 2019 and explored X’s foundational ideas: free improvisation, computational randomness, noise of the field, hybrid chaos of gestures and mediated bio-electrical currents.

Measure Composer, producer and pianist Sergei Kofman performed under his imaginative synthpop alias “Measure”, following up the 2025 release of the gorgeous single ‘Ghost” and ahead of the 2026 release of the upcoming full length debut album.
